EHAI 2014 Yearbook Launched in Heraghty House.

(19 Sep 2014)

A beautiful Autumn day of the 19th September last saw the launch of the 2014 EHAI Yearbook at Heraghty House, Novara Avenue, Bray, Co. Wicklow.

On hand to officially launch the yearbook and begin the celebration was Siobhan McEvoy of the Department of Health.  After a welcome by our chair, Caitriona Stack, and a presentation by the editor Damien Lynch, Siobhan regaled us with her own personal take on Environmental Health and her career through the years.

The yearbook was as we have come to expect, a publication of excellent quality with diverse and interesting articles. These included articles ranging from environmental impact assessments and controversial fracking techniques to the exceptional report on hygiene standards in open farms.  It's quality was a testament to the excellent leadership of the editor Damien Lynch and his hard working editorial team and as usual, we at the EHAI extend to them our heartfelt thanks.
